Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify and pursue new ABL opportunities through networking, referrals, and banker outreach.
  • •Lead client and prospect calls with commercial and corporate banking partners and develop relationships with clients, prospects, and referral sources.
  • •Create pitch books and executive summaries prior to client and prospect calls.
  • •Assess potential transactions quickly, lead diligence and research calls, and prepare in-depth credit screening memos.
  • •Monitor transactions through closing, coordinate with underwriting/origination support, maintain the Salesforce pipeline, and travel to designated markets to make pitches.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience in asset based lending and commercial lending, including prior ABL origination and portfolio management experience.
  • •In-depth understanding of asset based loans and credit risk, with the ability to assess a transaction’s strengths, weaknesses, and feasibility quickly.
  • •Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with clients, prospects, and bankers to sell, deliver, and close ABL loans.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with internal credit partners and create credible credit screening memos and credit packages.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, etc.) or another relevant degree, plus formal credit training (or equivalent experience).
