Job Summary

Conduct independent compliance and assurance audits focused on safety governance in high-risk industrial operations. Cover LTIs, selected HPNM samples, SOP/TRA audits, PTW quality and overall PTW system audits, near miss cases, and first-party audits. Assess compliance against ISO 45001/14001, local legal requirements, the UAE Fire and Life Safety Code, UAE OHSMS National Standard, and EGA policies—supported by audit governance, stakeholder engagement, and evidence-based reporting using SAP, Power BI, and MS Office.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct independent compliance and assurance audits, including LTIs, selected HPNM samples, SOP/TRA audits, fatality action plan verification, near miss cases, and PTW quality/system audits.
•Assess compliance against ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
•Verify compliance with UAE Fire and Life Safety Code of Practice, including fire prevention, hazardous storage, emergency response, fire protection systems, and inspection/maintenance.
•Perform compliance verification audits of hazardous materials (Hazmat) management systems and related SOPs/SMPs/TRAs.
•Produce audit reports and lead opening/closing meetings while coordinating with senior leaders across operations, maintenance, ESG, HC, supply chain, CAPEX, and other functions to drive audit action ownership.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
•NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).
•Certified Lead Auditor – ISO 45001 (ISO 14001 preferred).
•Licensed Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Expert/Consultant recognized by UAE Civil Defense (Dubai or Abu Dhabi) or equivalent UAE authority (preferred).
•5–7 years’ experience in HSE auditing or safety governance in heavy/high-risk industries; proven governance-level and compliance verification auditing experience.
