Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical assistance and guidance for due diligence, investigation, remediation, impact assessment, permitting, design, development, and construction of utility and industrial/commercial projects.
  • •Complete assigned electrical study and project work for clients, including power system protection and control systems analysis for conventional and renewable generation.
  • •Prepare substantiating reports and documentation for material, installation, component, and construction specifications to meet industry standards for safety and functionality.
  • •Apply protective relaying and related discipline work such as short-circuit/symmetrical component analysis, time-current coordination, relay settings, and SCADA integration.
  • •Maintain and improve client relationships, and mentor and supervise junior team members while performing occasional travel as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • •5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer delivering design work for large capital projects.
  • •Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
  • •Proficiency in electrical engineering principles and practices for permitting and project design/build deliverables.
  • •Experience with infrastructure planning/design/construction management and knowledge of relevant electrical engineering laws, codes, regulations, and compliance.
