Key Responsibilities

  • •Review project schedules and associated timelines to support takeoff work.
  • •Analyze specifications, plans, and project details to identify issues.
  • •Set up meetings with project managers and plant sales associates prior to starting takeoff.
  • •Perform detailed material takeoff and mark plans accordingly, checking and highlighting items taken off.
  • •Enter item details (specification, phase, system, location, and notes), update scope from daily addenda, and release accurate takeoff data to the project manager.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience performing material takeoffs for Waterworks materials.
  • •Knowledge of pipe, valves, fittings, and misc materials used in the waterworks industry, including DIP, Steel, Stainless, HDPE, PVC, and Process Valves.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of construction documents including plans, detail drawings, P&ID drawings, specifications, bid forms, and related project management/construction administration.
  • •Maintain a high level of accuracy while handling multiple projects and staying organized.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to manage electronic files; Sage Estimating and Planswift are a plus.
