Job Summary

Lead residential mortgage loan origination and manage a team of Mortgage Loan Originators across an assigned area. Drive personal and team production through KPIs and reporting, build referral relationships, and run business plan reviews. Partner with fulfillment operations to support closed volume while ensuring compliance with state and federal lending regulations, maintaining loan quality, and coaching and recruiting MLOs.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee origination of residential mortgage loans from application through closing, including personal production.
•Manage a team of at least 5 MLOs, providing feedback, coaching, performance management, and talent development.
•Develop referral relationships (e.g., realtors, builders, professional and personal contacts) and build relationships with Financial Center personnel.
•Drive sales culture and volume growth through business plan reviews, strategic/tactical plans, and KPI-based reporting.
•Ensure compliance and quality by monitoring meetings, state and federal regulation adherence, and loan originator quality; serve as an intermediary for loan issues with processing and underwriting managers.

Key Requirements

•2-4 years residential mortgage sales experience.
•In-depth knowledge of conventional, government, and portfolio mortgage guidelines.
•Knowledge of residential mortgage processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
•Knowledge of federal lending regulations governing real estate lending.
•Ability to lead by example with demonstrated leadership, organizational, teamwork, and customer service skills; experience managing a team preferred.
