Job Summary

Own safety performance for a highly distributed smart home field installation and direct-to-home sales workforce. Develop and continuously improve regional safety programs, partner with field leaders, and conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to mitigate hazards. Review incidents and trends, run investigations with corrective actions, and manage safety management system components. Coach and develop safety professionals, deliver safety training, and present program health to leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with field service installation and direct-to-home sales leadership to develop, implement, and maintain safety programs and promote a safety-over-production culture.
•Conduct regular field safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the assigned territory and recommend actions to mitigate workplace hazards.
•Support field leadership through coaching, advising, and sharing trends and anticipated risks; provide safety updates at field leadership meetings.
•Review incidents to identify data trends and build action plans; support incident investigations and corrective action development and closure with maintained recordkeeping.
•Manage implementation, maintenance, validation, and revision of safety and occupational health management system components; assist with safety training development and delivery.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
•7+ years industry/safety experience, including at least 4 years in automation, technology, or managing a distributed workforce.
•Thorough understanding of applicable OSHA regulations and industry guidelines.
•Experience working within safety and occupational health management systems.
•Experience with investigation/RCA and safety data/trend analysis to develop action plans.
