Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive, unload, and stage raw materials from trailers and open-top trucks to ensure proper flow into the protein conversion process.
  • •Monitor raw material bins and receiving areas to prevent overflows, contamination, or production disruptions.
  • •Perform daily and weekly sanitation duties, including cleaning floors, walls, catch basins, and foaming designated areas to meet food safety and biosecurity standards.
  • •Learn and support all job functions within the Protein Conversion area as needed to maintain efficient operations.
  • •Safely operate or learn to operate powered industrial trucks (PITs) and other material-handling equipment while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • •Poultry or food manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • •Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • •Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to comprehend instructions and apply common sense.
  • •Must be a team player and able to work in warm temperatures and lift 50 lbs or more.
