Job Summary

Safely operate a ready-mixed concrete mixer truck to manufacture, deliver, and unload concrete to customer job sites across Ohio. Follow dispatcher/plant manager instructions, complete delivery ticket documentation, and maintain clear communication. Ensure compliance with OSHA and USDOT/FMCSA safe-operating practices, perform pre-/post-trip inspections, keep the truck and plant areas clean, and provide basic customer support related to orders and concrete operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely operate the concrete mixer truck to deliver and unload ready-mixed concrete to customer sites as specified.
•Follow dispatch instructions and coordinate with the dispatcher/plant manager; check and complete delivery tickets with special instructions.
•Maintain vehicle and work area cleanliness, including rinsing the drum before and after deliveries and performing sweeping/shoveling as needed.
•Comply with OSHA and USDOT/FMSCA safe-operating practices and use supplied PPE.
•Collect customer payments, record transactions, and respond to customer questions related to basic product knowledge and concrete instructions.

Key Requirements

•Must possess a valid minimum Class B CDL.
•High school diploma preferred or equivalent; or minimum 1 year related experience or training.
•Read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.
•Ability to safely operate and maintain the vehicle, including performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting maintenance/repairs.
•Willingness to work nights and weekends as required, and work safely with or without supervision while maintaining professional, courteous behavior.
