Key Responsibilities

  • •Strategic Leadership & Technical Roadmap: Define and execute the vision and roadmap for Engineering Productivity and internal developer platforms; drive the technical strategy, tools, and infrastructure to improve velocity, quality, and release reliability; establish scalable foundations for CI/CD, testing, environments, observability, and insights; champion AI-native engineering practices; partner with product/platform teams to ensure scalable standards.
  • •Tooling, Infrastructure & Developer Platforms: Build and evolve internal platforms and tooling to improve efficiency; own internal SDLC to support multiple production releases per day; improve workflows across microservices, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and multi-tenant SaaS; standardize build systems, environments, and release practices; ensure scalability, resilience, and security.
  • •Engineering Productivity & Metrics: Establish data-driven metrics (DORA, SPACE); analyze bottlenecks in CI/CD and testing; drive improvements in deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate, MTTR, and reliability; provide executive visibility into engineering health and productivity trends; reduce friction in developer workflows.
  • •Leadership & Talent Management: Lead and grow a globally distributed organization of engineers and managers; cultivate a high-performance culture; recruit and retain talent across global regions; develop leadership pipelines and career growth; promote transparency and inclusion.
  • •AI-Native Automation & Operational Excellence: Drive automation to eliminate manual toil across testing, deployment, operations, and documentation; implement AI-assisted dev testing and agentic workflows; integrate AI tooling into portals and cloud optimization workflows; improve release confidence with automated testing and observability.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of software engineering experience with substantial leadership experience managing large-scale engineering organizations.
  • •5+ years in senior engineering leadership roles (Director or above) focused on Engineering Productivity, Quality, Developer Experience, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, or CI/CD systems.
  • •Proven experience leading distributed organizations of 40–60+ engineers and managers.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • •Strong background in software engineering, cloud-native architecture, CI/CD systems, distributed systems, and large-scale infrastructure.
