Job Summary

Serve as a senior system-level technical authority for YieldStar (YS) manufacturing operations in Linkou, owning complex, recurring production disturbances. Lead technical assessments and escalation meetings (including DRB) under production pressure, coordinate cross-functional resources, and drive structured troubleshooting to identify root causes and systemic gaps. Deploy best-known methods across YS lines, coach peers, and support urgent production and quality issues, including rotating shifts and limited emergency on-site customer support.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead YieldStar (YS)-related technical assessments during daily passdown, DRB, and escalation meetings.
•Act as technical decision owner for complex, cross-domain YS system issues under production pressure.
•Own high-impact, recurring, and long-duration disturbances impacting YS output, quality, or delivery.
•Perform system-level/root-cause analysis and drive development/validation/deployment of Best-Known Methods (BKM).
•Provide technical guidance and coaching to peers and support rapid technical assessments for urgent YS-related production issues.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering or a related discipline.
•8+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment, electronics, or precision equipment industries.
•At least 5 years as a 2nd-line Technical Support Engineer (or equivalent) in the semiconductor equipment industry.
•Proven experience troubleshooting complex production escalations and recurring disturbances in a manufacturing environment.
•Experience acting as a technical issue owner/focal point for critical production or system-related issues, with strong risk assessment and English communication for escalation meetings.
