Job Summary

Build and implement applications for Visa’s Finance revenue and pricing platforms, including mission-critical transaction processing, pricing, rating, and billing. Design scalable, resilient systems with strong monitoring, review peers’ work, and mentor developers and testers. Partner with business stakeholders, TPMs, and product managers to refine user stories and specifications, conduct POCs, and drive delivery in an agile CI/CD environment using modern Java and JavaScript technologies.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop solutions for mission-critical large revenue systems, including transaction processing, pricing, rating, and billing (analysis, technical design, development, unit testing, and support).
•Design and build scalable, resilient applications with monitoring using frontend and backend technologies.
•Review and improve the quality of designs and code produced by other developers.
•Work with business partners, TPMs, and product managers to translate user stories into functional/technical specifications and workflows.
•Define engineering best practices, conduct POCs, and mentor junior team members to adopt them while operating in an agile CI/CD model.

Key Requirements

•8+ years developing and implementing Java-based applications, including front-end frameworks and back-end processes.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other Engineering discipline.
•Expertise in core Java, scripting, Hibernate, JavaScript, NoSQL, Oracle Database, and design patterns.
•At least 3 years building applications with Spring Boot and at least 3 years with modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Node.js, or React).
•Experience architecting large-scale, production-grade applications; plus familiarity with CI/CD (GIT, Maven, Jenkins) and distributed/parallel systems.
