Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure established process adherence, accurate and timely work recording, and contractual/regulatory compliance within assigned accountability and authority.
  • •Deliver aircraft maintenance under Boeing’s MAA MRP Part 145 approval (or MOD customer approval), including assembly, disassembly, modification, repair, and upgrading of aircraft systems/structures/electronics/components.
  • •Troubleshoot complex aircraft systems (pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical/electronic) and repair faults according to approved maintenance documents and technical information.
  • •Supervise and plan technical work for a small group of aircraft technicians, distributing and controlling work to meet schedule and quality standards.
  • •Mitigate immediate risks (including stop work) and escalate emerging risks, issues, and shortfalls; contribute to continuous improvement and open/honest reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Fluent written and spoken English.
  • •Recognised relevant trade apprenticeship or trade training equivalent.
  • •Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes applicable to the aviation environment, including human factors, FOD control, tool control, and health & safety/COSHH.
  • •Knowledge of MAA Regulatory Articles (RA) and MAA Regulatory Publication (MRP) Part 145, plus aviation Quality Assurance (QA) and Safety Management System (SMS) application in the role’s authority.
  • •Proficient computer skills, including use of the Microsoft Office suite.
