Key Responsibilities

  • •Produce, write, and edit segments as assigned for broadcast and digital platforms.
  • •Take charge of major headlines with innovative storytelling for television and digital newscasts.
  • •Collaborate with the editorial team and participate in long-form projects for streaming services.
  • •Contribute story ideas aligned with the NBC Connecticut News Strategy and stay current on Connecticut news and current events.
  • •Fill in as a producer when needed on other NBC CT newscasts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • •Must have flexible scheduling and be able to work any shift, including holidays and weekends, with short notice.
  • •Must be able to work any of a 24 x 7 shift.
  • •Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
  • •Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.
