Job Summary

We are seeking a performance-focused engineer to drive real-world browser performance improvements across Chromium-based platforms. You will profile and optimize Chromium subsystems (Blink, V8, Skia) across Windows (with Linux/macOS exposure), collaborate with cross-functional teams, and translate profiling insights into measurable user-facing performance gains for millions of users.

Key Responsibilities

•Profile and optimize performance across Chromium subsystems, including Blink, V8, Skia, GPU/ANGLE, and browser multi-process architecture.
•Identify CPU, memory, GPU, and power bottlenecks using real-world workloads, benchmarks, and telemetry.
•Implement improvements in areas such as page load performance, rendering, JavaScript execution, graphics/compositing, and responsiveness.
•Drive cross-platform optimizations, with a primary focus on Windows and exposure to Linux/macOS environments.
•Translate low-level profiling insights into scalable, user-facing performance improvements and document findings for stakeholders.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: PLN 182,000 - 260,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Strong background in software engineering with a focus on performance optimization.
•Experience working with Chromium or Chromium-based browsers (e.g., Chrome, Edge, or internal forks).
•Proficiency in C++ and modern performance-oriented development practices.
•Understanding of browser internals across areas such as rendering pipelines, JavaScript engines, graphics and compositing, and multi-process architectures.
•Experience using profiling and tracing tools to drive optimization decisions; strong debugging skills within large-scale systems.
