Job Summary

Lead the overall management and coordination of plant operations to meet cost, profit, quality, and productivity goals. Oversee staffing and coaching of the production management team, build production and shipping schedules, monitor output, yields, and scrap, and ensure accurate production data entry. Manage maintenance activities, coordinate inventory and month-end inventories, review P&L against budget, and drive quality and safety improvements aligned with OSHA and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage and safeguard plant assets.
•Staff, develop, and coach the production management team, evaluating performance and initiating corrective action as required.
•Develop and coordinate master production and shipping schedules across shifts and functions.
•Establish quality standards and lead quality improvement initiatives.
•Monitor production metrics (output, yields, scrap), ensure production data entry, and manage maintenance and inventory coordination.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of two years of work experience as a production manager or equivalent.
•Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
•Forklift operator certification is required.
•Working knowledge of shipping truck capacities.
