Key Responsibilities

  • •Build market-entry strategies by assessing market attractiveness, customer opportunity, competitive dynamics, regulatory feasibility, and Airwallex’s right to win.
  • •Design the market-entry model by evaluating licensing pathways, entity structures, partnerships, and operating models in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Treasury.
  • •Translate strategy into product requirements by partnering with Product and Engineering to define scope, sequencing, and launch dependencies.
  • •Drive cross-functional launch readiness by owning defined workstreams, surfacing blockers early, and supporting go/no-go decisions across product, regulatory, operational, risk, and commercial dimensions.
  • •Enable executive decision-making by synthesizing perspectives into clear recommendations, and build reusable expansion frameworks, dashboards, templates, and lightweight AI-enabled tools.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •2–4 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting or in strategy, operations, expansion, product strategy, or regulatory roles within fintech, payments, banking, or financial infrastructure.
  • •Strong structured problem-solving to form points of view on ambiguous problems without waiting for perfect information.
  • •Experience driving a complex cross-functional initiative with clear personal ownership across product, regulatory, operational, or commercial stakeholders.
  • •Excellent communication and synthesis for explaining complex issues clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • •High ownership and operating discipline, including dependency management and follow-through; comfort using AI tools for research and drafting.
