Job Summary

Lead the Mastercard Services Technology team responsible for unlocking and governing enterprise big data assets. Design and architect cloud-native lakehouse platforms across AWS and Azure, including ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming. Drive DevOps adoption with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and automated provisioning in multi-cloud environments, while enforcing security, IAM, encryption, and data governance. Mentor engineering and DevOps leaders and optimize reliability, performance, scalability, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and architect end-to-end cloud-native solutions for modern data platforms, including lakehouse architectures leveraging S3, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and related tools.
•Drive DevOps initiatives such as CI/CD pipeline creation, infrastructure-as-code implementation, and automated environment provisioning across multi-cloud environments.
•Set and enforce cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption, network security) and regulatory compliance, and establish enterprise data governance frameworks (cataloging, lineage, classification, access control).
•Design and lead robust data engineering pipelines for batch and streaming, including ETL/ELT, data lakes, and data warehouses using medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
•Mentor engineers and DevOps teams, participate in architectural discussions and agile ceremonies, and continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
•15+ years of experience in cloud and data platform architecture, DevOps, or related technical roles.
•Proven hands-on expertise with AWS and Azure services including S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue, Flink, Lake Formation, Azure Data Factory, Fabric, Synapse, and Databricks.
•Strong track record building DevOps pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
•Experience with data engineering frameworks such as Spark and PySpark, and demonstrated success delivering medallion architecture solutions in production.
