Job Function: Executive & General Management

Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply high-level structural engineering techniques and processes to identify improvements for various project phases (concept development, preliminary design, final design, procurement, construction, operation).
  • •Perform professional structural engineering work and inspect site conditions, resources, buildings, infrastructure to ensure conformance with rules and permits.
  • •Develop construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, safety and phasing plans, and update layouts coordinating with owners, disciplines, sub-consultants, and clients.
  • •Lead design, construction, rehabilitation, and remediation of building/infrastructure projects ensuring durability and compliance with codes.
  • •Develop advanced technologies, monitoring devices, modeling techniques, and design standards for safe, functional end-use and future-ready solutions.
  • •Oversee cross-functional teams of engineers, architects, planners, and scientists, managing budgets, hours, expenses, and deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline.
  • •12+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering discipline and prior structural or civil design experience.
  • •Professional Engineer license required.
  • •Proficient with structural engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and application to project work-related issues.
  • •Knowledge and experience with building structural planning, design, and construction management; including rehabilitation, new design, and construction projects.
