Job Summary

Drive a strong safety-first culture at the Goa manufacturing unit by ensuring statutory compliance across process safety, occupational health, fire safety, and emergency preparedness. Lead high-risk assessments (HAZOP, HIRA, JSA), manage OH&S and environmental initiatives including ISO 45001/14001, run incident investigations with RCA/CAPA closure, and oversee contractor safety, EHS audits/gemba walks, and EHS KPI reporting for unit leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive process safety using HAZOP, HIRA, and JSA for high-risk activities (tank farm, hot work, confined space).
•Lead fire safety and emergency preparedness for flammable spirit handling and run mock drills.
•Own OH&S statutory compliance and lead incident/near-miss investigations with RCA and CAPA closure.
•Manage contractor safety including induction, permit-to-work, PPE compliance, and audits.
•Conduct EHS audits/gemba walks, maintain ISO 45001 compliance, run behavior-based safety programs, and report EHS KPIs (LTIFR, TRIR, near-miss rate); also oversee ETP/effluent performance and waste management, environmental clearances, and ISO 14001/sustainability reporting.

Key Requirements

•B.E./B.Tech (Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial) with a PG Diploma in Industrial Safety.
•6–10 years of EHS experience within process/manufacturing (alcobev, brewery, distillery, or FMCG preferred).
•Strong knowledge of Factories Act, PESO, GSPCB norms, and HAZOP/HIRA with ISO 45001/14001.
•Able to operate independently as an IC with strong shop-floor influencing skills.
•Experience managing process safety, occupational health, and fire/emergency preparedness at site level.
