Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical recommendations to customers on aircraft manuals, USAF Technical Orders, data, training, and technical support.
  • •Apply maintenance and engineering principles to lead research on technical, operational, regulatory, safety, and/or quality issues affecting the B-52 fleet.
  • •Lead and manage development of interim and final solutions to minor and complex aircraft maintenance queries.
  • •Develop clear, concise customer correspondence to support continued safe operation and maintenance of the aircraft and support equipment.
  • •Support flight line operations with technical guidance and analyze recurring issues/maintenance trends to recommend corrective actions.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of avionics or electrical experience in B-52 flight line maintenance.
  • •5+ years reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements for modifications/repair.
  • •5+ years performing maintainability analyses (step-by-step procedures, associated task times, and tool requirements) for maintenance actions.
  • •Willingness and ability to deploy/travel (domestic/international) on potentially short notice to meet customer needs.
  • •Willingness and ability to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.
