Job Summary

Lead delivery of Dyson new product development projects for the Hair Care category, from post-concept through industrialisation and product launch. Own integrated project planning, milestone deliverables, budget adherence, risk management, and resource allocation. Facilitate recurring “drumbeat” sessions to align cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, track actions/issues, and ensure outcomes on time, cost, spec, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop integrated project timelines for Hair Care products with cross-team inputs, buy-in, and delivery commitment.
•Manage milestone deliverables to ensure cross-team engagement and delivery against requirements aligned to Dyson business processes.
•Support adherence to project budgets by ensuring business cases are maintained by cross-functional teams.
•Manage project risks and track actions/issues to enable on-time, on-cost, on-spec, on-quality delivery and benefits realisation.
•Facilitate regular “drumbeat” sessions, resolve conflicts, allocate resources against schedules, and challenge concepts to achieve optimum design within time/spec/cost boundaries.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
•Formal project management training/qualifications.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Project.
•5+ years of experience in an engineering/product development environment with knowledge of the product lifecycle.
•Experience managing projects from conception to launch using project management principles (risk, resource, budget, etc.).
