Key Responsibilities

  • •Support one or more related categories under broad direction from Portfolio and Category Leadership and represent the Category Manager as assigned.
  • •Manage suppliers and their contracts, negotiating with suppliers and preparing contracts and agreements under the direction of the Category Manager.
  • •Implement strategic sourcing and category strategies in accordance with policies and procedures; lead or assist category projects with vendors to achieve outcomes.
  • •Facilitate analysis of supply chain data and develop analytical reports to support supply chain processes and required metrics.
  • •Act as an interface between business and suppliers for category issues; participate in governance and performance management and present insights to management and executive leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of an undergraduate degree required, preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Engineering, or similar discipline.
  • •Min. 3–5 years’ work experience in supply chain management, sales and/or marketing, and/or engineering discipline or related experiences.
  • •Experience with contracts, negotiations, strategic sourcing, stakeholder engagement, project management, and supplier performance management (ability to develop quickly).
  • •Proficiency in data management and presentation, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • •Strong critical thinking and communication skills with a commercial mindset; self-starter with reliable, solution-focused follow-through with minimal supervision.
