Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage a DevOps team to develop, test, deploy, maintain, and update DSPE data platforms, cloud platforms, automation systems, and analytics systems.
  • •Translate DSPE business needs into technical specifications, implementation plans, and maintain system architecture/infrastructure design documents.
  • •Maintain and optimize infrastructure performance, including monitoring key metrics such as network I/O, disk I/O, memory allocation, and compute utilization.
  • •Improve and enforce quality, compliance, and documentation processes for DSPE DevOps-owned software tools and systems, including V&V protocols and reports.
  • •Partner with engineering and operational stakeholders to align infrastructure roadmaps, resolve technical dependencies, and represent the DSPE DevOps team in stakeholder meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred).
  • •10+ years relevant industry experience with a bachelor’s degree (8+ with a master’s; 4+ with a doctorate).
  • •3+ years management experience leading a DevOps or software development team.
  • •3+ years working in a highly regulated environment (e.g., CLIA and/or FDA compliant).
  • •Experience designing and maintaining production software tools/systems in high-throughput environments, including software design specs, V&V documents, and user manuals.
