Job Summary

Lead and develop the engineering team within the injection molding plant, supervising engineering projects from implementation through development. Make data-driven decisions to set engineering priorities that improve production efficiency, safety, and quality. Coordinate with manufacturing leadership to align priorities, guide plant renovations/expansions, oversee capital budgets, track cost savings, and drive corrective/preventive actions in response to customer complaints.

•Instill a positive safety culture and ensure personal safety and the safety of team members, including vendors and contractors.
•Lead and develop the engineering team by providing guidance, direction, and development to engineers.
•Collaborate with manufacturing managers and leadership to set and assess priorities across teams.
•Assess manufacturing process cost effectiveness and feasibility; implement recommendations to improve safety, efficiency, and reduce costs.
•Prepare and implement the capital budget, perform annual performance evaluations, and drive corrective/preventive actions in response to customer complaints.
