Job Summary

Design and document solution architecture for strategic data and AI initiatives within Northern Trust Asset Management. Partner with global teams to build, deploy, and maintain business applications on Azure, leveraging Snowflake for complex data and integration needs. Lead proof of concept efforts, evangelize data/AI strategy, and apply modern architecture principles to create scalable data models, data warehouses, and analytics capabilities, including advanced ML/AI and MLOps.

Key Requirements

•Expertise solutioning Snowflake on Azure Cloud for complex business needs, including Snowflake integration, data processing, and optimization.
•Strong understanding of production-enabled AI business tools and advanced analytics using ML, AI, GenAI, Agentic AI, and MLOps.
•Comfort designing databases, data models, data processes, and data warehouse applications, applying best practices and tools.
•Expert-level understanding of relational database concepts, dimensional database concepts, and database architecture, including NoSQL data stores.
•Experience with dimensional modeling methods such as Star and Data Vault, plus implementation of data models (LDM & PDM), data flow diagrams, database schemas, and DB scripts.
