Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the unit alongside clinical duties, ensuring residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • •Administer and order medication, and review, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
  • •Coach and guide the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
  • •Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
  • •Provide clinical guidance, support CQC tasks, and hand over clinical issues to other team members and healthcare professionals.
