Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and build firmware for high-performance memory controllers and Solid State Drives (SSDs).
  • •Evaluate, create, and bench test firmware, then debug and perform failure analysis to improve system performance.
  • •Partner with multi-disciplinary engineers on embedded, multi-functional product development issues.
  • •Triage failures and file bug reports, supporting teams with isolating issues.
  • •Work independently with minimal supervision and contribute to team leadership/supervision where needed.

Key Requirements

  • •6–12 years of embedded firmware experience in storage/SSD is a strong plus.
  • •Strong firmware design and debugging experience using assembly and C programming.
  • •Knowledge of mass storage interface protocols such as PCIe/NVMe, plus understanding of storage interfaces like SATA or SAS (optional).
  • •Experience with ARM development tools/IDEs such as Eclipse.
  • •Experience in the storage industry (SSD/HDD/storage systems) and working knowledge of NAND flash is optional but preferred.
