Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and manage day-to-day EHS operations for a fast-paced construction project, including contractor EHS program implementation, enforcement, and audits.
  • •Develop and maintain safety observations from hazard identification inspections, focusing on cranes, rigging, heavy equipment, welding, and fabrication, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • •Collaborate with leadership on job hazard assessments, PPE requirements, safeguards, and health and safety policies to increase safety across sites and projects.
  • •Provide technical oversight for high-risk mechanical construction tasks, including crane and rigging operations, heavy equipment use, welding, and steel fabrication.
  • •Investigate and write reports for incidents, spills, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine root causes and corrective/preventive actions, with focused analysis on high-risk activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •5+ years of experience overseeing environmental, health and safety disciplines within the construction industry.
  • •Strong technical acumen in construction safety with hands-on experience in crane and rigging operations, heavy equipment, welding, and fabrication.
  • •Ability to interpret, apply, and document federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations.
  • •Experience using Building Codes and National Electric Code.
