Heavy Equipment Mechanic 1 (Winston Salem, NC, US, 27101)

Maintain and repair a variety of construction and heavy equipment to keep crews running efficiently. Perform assembly, adjustments, lubrication, inspection, and maintenance on engines, compressors, pumps, paving and earth-moving equipment. Assist with overhauls of mechanisms, air-cooled engines, starters, generators, and voltage regulators, and help repair heavy equipment such as tractors, cranes, loaders, rollers, and compactors. Work with day/night and out-of-town crews as needed and follow preventive maintenance practices.
