Key Responsibilities

  • •Build the accounting model end-to-end, including token issuance/redemption, asset tracking, intercompany flows, and the close process.
  • •Own FSRA regulatory compliance and reporting, including regulator liaising and building a robust reporting process responsive to ad hoc queries.
  • •Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Tax, Compliance, Treasury, FP&A, and Finance Data to ensure new flows are accurate, controlled, and scalable.
  • •Sign off on flow of funds, posting rules, account setup, ledger structure, reconciliations, and reporting before launch.
  • •Lead accounting analysis for new structures under US GAAP and IFRS and build the reporting framework for the issuer entity, including audited IFRS financials and audit support.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA or similar strongly preferred.
  • •Strong accounting or finance experience in a regulated setting (capital markets, broker-dealer, exchange, custody, clearing, or digital assets).
  • •Experience working directly with a financial regulator (inquiries, exams, or filings).
  • •Proven ability to apply accounting rules to new or complex products.
  • •Experience building new finance processes for new products, entities, or regulatory regimes.
