  • •Provide specialized technical input to studies and designs and conduct interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
  • •Develop and oversee study/design procedures, including PS&E discipline component work, traffic safety analysis, and construction cost estimates.
  • •Prepare technical specification sections and perform quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 6 years of relevant traffic engineering experience (or equivalent).
  • •Certified Engineer (PE/TE/PTOE) license in California, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • •Caltrans experience.
  • •Experience in transportation planning, modeling, and engineering for multimodal transportation projects.
  • •Experience using traffic simulation/modeling software (e.g., Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, HCS) and related tools.
