Job Summary

Sell VIP inventory in advance of shows and meet monthly sales goals. Be present during every show to upsell available VIP offerings and provide VIP guests with venue information and arrival/concert timing assistance. Recognize VIP patrons and Foundation Members, coordinate with the Ops Director, servers, and security on show nights, and maintain professional grooming standards while diffusing potential guest issues tactfully.

Key Responsibilities

•Sell VIP inventory (boxes, bottle service, reserved stools) in advance of shows and maintain monthly sales goals.
•Upsell available VIP inventory to concert patrons during each show.
•Provide VIP clients with information about their experience within the House of Blues venue.
•Assist VIP clients with arrival timing and concert times.
•Coordinate show-night operations with the Ops Director, servers, and security, and maintain exemplary professional grooming standards.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Working knowledge of high-end restaurant operations, seating procedures, and guest relations.
•Experience selling to high-end, VIP clients.
•Skill in diplomacy, handling multiple tasks, organizational skills, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to diffuse potentially volatile situations with tact and diplomacy, with a flexible schedule and ability to work in multi venues.
