Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on machines.
  • •Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot/repair Epiroc products per manufacturer recommendations.
  • •Ensure appropriate tools and equipment are onsite and properly maintained.
  • •Communicate service activities to the Service Coordinator in a complete and timely manner.
  • •Level 2–3: run diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment/components and perform repairs; test/document operating parameters and complete failure analyses and warranty process as needed, including support for technician training.

Key Requirements

  • •Basic computer skills and familiarity with Epiroc equipment, with mechanical aptitude and experience in industrial/commercial fluid power and low-voltage electrical control systems.
  • •Own hand tools and be able to expand tool inventory based on Epiroc’s required tool list by location.
  • •Complete required trainings (TL1, PDI procedure, machine specifications, reading schematics within 3 months, and Safe Start Modules 1–5 within the first year).
  • •Maintain required US Department of Labor Mine, Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) training certificates, or agree to complete required training programs by required dates.
  • •Maintain a valid driver’s license; good driving record required.
