Job Summary

Drive a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites and customers in the Richland area. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, follow dispatch instructions and DOT requirements, and maintain operator logs and delivery documentation. Maintain product quality and communicate with the dispatcher about deliveries and any issues. Collect payments, support basic customer service needs, and complete required cleanup and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or repair issues.
•Operate a ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites safely and efficiently, following dispatch instructions and applicable laws.
•May add materials to concrete mix and ensure product quality delivered (e.g., slump).
•Maintain communication with the dispatcher, check delivery tickets for special instructions, and complete required records and signatures.
•Collect money from customers as needed, respond to basic customer questions, and rinse/dump materials following established procedures.

Key Requirements

•Current Class A or B CDL with self-certification of non-excepted interstate and a current DOT medical card.
•Ability to operate manual transmission.

•Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment controlled substance testing.
•Ability to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
