Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate heavy trucks, tractor-trailers, and flatbeds to transport vehicles, equipment, and Class IX materiel.
  • •Support equipment turn-in operations by hauling assets from Army units to the site or designated locations.
  • •Assist with loading, securing, and unloading cargo using chains, binders, straps, and blocking/bracing.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) and report deficiencies/coordinate repairs.
  • •Ensure proper completion of shipping and transport documents, comply with DOT/Army/HAZMAT rules, and maintain driver logs and records.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • •Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL – Class A or B) required.
  • •3–5 years of heavy truck driving experience; prior Army or contractor logistics experience preferred.
  • •HAZMAT endorsement (preferred/required if hauling hazardous materials).
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) and Tier1/NACI (public trust) background eligibility.
