Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as an advisor to UK public sector CISOs and security leaders on strategic planning, threat landscape, and proactive initiatives.
  • •Provide executive briefings and independent non-commercial cybersecurity modernization guidance to current and prospective government clients.
  • •Establish and maintain relationships with key UK central government decision-makers and conduct executive engagement programs (e.g., roundtables, advisory sessions).
  • •Support strategic partnership development aligned to the Government Cyber Action Plan, including NCSC-related initiatives and threat intelligence sharing.
  • •Coach, train, and mentor UK Public Sector sales teams and sales engineers on public sector priorities, procurement processes, and engagement strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive cybersecurity track record with experience in senior leadership roles within UK public sector organizations.
  • •Deep understanding of UK government cyber security requirements, including NCSC guidance, Government Security Classifications, protective monitoring, and security assurance frameworks.
  • •Broad information security competency spanning strategy, governance, risk management, architecture, and operations, with deep knowledge of modern security technologies (endpoint security, XDR/EDR, cloud security, IAM, SIEM/log management, incident response, threat intelligence).
  • •Experience leading security transformation programs such as Zero Trust architecture, cloud migration security, legacy estate modernization, and security operating model design.
  • •Exceptional communication and thought leadership ability to articulate complex security concepts to stakeholders from practitioners to ministerial-level audiences; comfortable operating independently and influencing senior internal and external partners.
