Job Summary

Operate machinery according to job specifications while following safety policies and procedures to produce high-quality product. Read and interpret documents to adjust machines, set stops/guides to required lengths, and monitor operations for defects or malfunctions. Inspect finished product for inconsistencies, perform routine maintenance, and maintain orderly housekeeping. Assist other operators to support setup and meet production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate machinery as directed while following all safety rules and procedures to produce a superior product.
•Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
•Set stops or guides to specific lengths using scale, rule, or templates.
•Observe machine operation to detect defects or machine malfunction and review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance.
•Perform routine machine maintenance and assist other operators with machine setup and related tasks, maintaining housekeeping in the assigned area.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent, or at least one month of related experience, or an equivalent education/experience combination.

•Must encompass computer literacy and strong mechanical ability.
