Key Responsibilities

  • •Lay out materials per blueprint instructions.
  • •Set up forming dies and punches in the press brake and operate hydraulic press brake machines to form steel components.
  • •Enter part number information into a computer terminal and perform first-piece checks.
  • •Adjust the part program based on variations in material and verify finished pieces against print dimensions, making press brake adjustments as needed.
  • •Position formed parts against stops, form required angles and bends, and work with another operator to palletize completed parts; develop computer programs for new parts.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 6 months of machining experience within a manufacturing environment.

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
