Key Responsibilities

  • •Own projects end-to-end for a large portion of one of our products, from conception to delivery.
  • •Research competitors, write product specifications, create wireframes, and collaborate with design to shape features.
  • •Build reusable building blocks and abstractions that enable rapid development across the stack.
  • •Collaborate with product managers and engineers; validate decisions with stakeholders and maintain clear communication.
  • •Deliver features with a balance of speed and quality, contributing to Ashby’s scalable TA tooling.

Key Requirements

  • •Take ownership over a large portion of one of our products and own projects end-to-end (wearing hats traditionally worn by product and design).
  • •Research competitors, write product specs, make wireframes, and iterate based on user feedback.
  • •Design and implement building blocks and abstractions that scale (e.g., analytics modeling, query language, policy engine, workflow engine, design system).
  • •Collaborate with product managers and designers; vet decisions with stakeholders and communicate clearly with the engineering team.
