Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling and delivering fee income and retail banking products and services.
  • •Establish and update understanding of client financial needs using profiling and personal financial planning analysis, working with investment advisors on investment and asset allocation objectives.
  • •Monitor and stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, and investment trends; act as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their CPAs.
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing products, and managing the sales process, segmentation models, referrals, and sales activity/pipeline.
  • •Partner with Truist Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) specialists and external centers of influence to ensure integrated client service and support business development efforts.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience and training.
  • •Minimum of five years of financial services experience working with clients dealing with banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year in a financial client relationship manager role).
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory/insurance and investment management/asset allocation concepts, including retail credit and traditional retail bank products for mass affluent clients.
  • •Required active/maintained securities licenses (SIE, FINRA Series 7, 66; 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) and applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable), plus SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance and related NMLS background check.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, relationship management, and communication skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
