Job Summary

Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, building and deepening relationships through sound personal financial planning and advisory. Deliver and service a broad range of retail solutions including banking, mortgage, investments, and insurance. Grow revenue and retention by developing new clients, expanding services, leveraging referrals, and managing sales activity and pipelines within compliance and audit frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling and delivering fee income and retail banking products and services.
•Establish and update understanding of client financial needs using profiling and personal financial planning analysis, working with investment advisors on investment and asset allocation objectives.
•Monitor and stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, and investment trends; act as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and their CPAs.
•Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing products, and managing the sales process, segmentation models, referrals, and sales activity/pipeline.
•Partner with Truist Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) specialists and external centers of influence to ensure integrated client service and support business development efforts.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience and training.
•Minimum of five years of financial services experience working with clients dealing with banking, investments, and/or retail lending (or one year in a financial client relationship manager role).
•Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory/insurance and investment management/asset allocation concepts, including retail credit and traditional retail bank products for mass affluent clients.
•Required active/maintained securities licenses (SIE, FINRA Series 7, 66; 63 and 65 in lieu of 66) and applicable insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable), plus SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliance and related NMLS background check.
•Strong interpersonal, sales, relationship management, and communication skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
