Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and maintain the Xrange Control Room as the central hub for operational coordination.
  • •Monitor and coordinate runway, taxiway, apron, airfield, and range activity status, including aircraft parking, towing, runway access, inspections, and FOD control.
  • •Monitor ground handling, vehicle movements, closures, safety compliance, and weather conditions.
  • •Coordinate operational training events, testing activities, stakeholder communications, and timely response to operational disruptions.
  • •Manage emergency coordination as the primary point of contact, including incident reporting, Hot-Wash-Ups (HWU), After-Action Reviews (AAR), and development of emergency response procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or recognised UAE military education.
  • •Minimum 7 years’ experience within UAE Armed Forces, MOD, aviation operations, control rooms, operational centres, or range operations.
  • •Strong understanding of command and control principles, operational coordination, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • •Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and operational activities simultaneously.
  • •Arabic speaker with excellent written and verbal English communication; able to operate radio communication systems and perform under pressure during emergencies.
