Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and manage agronomy staff in daily golf course turf maintenance, including mowing, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and soil management.
  • •Implement turf management programs to optimize turf health and playing conditions.
  • •Monitor turf health and soil conditions, recommending and applying corrective measures as needed.
  • •Coordinate maintenance scheduling to minimize disruption to golf course operations.
  • •Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations, maintain inventory, and train/mentor staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Turf Management, or a related field.
  • •4-6 years of golf course agronomy or turf management experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • •Strong knowledge of turfgrass species, soil science, pest control, irrigation systems, and fertility management.
  • •Hands-on experience with turf maintenance equipment and tools.
  • •Leadership, communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
