Key Responsibilities

  • •Release Planning and Coordination: Define and manage the release schedule, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical readiness; coordinate with development, QA, DevOps, and product teams to plan timelines, milestones, and dependencies; identify risks and dependencies and develop mitigation strategies.
  • •Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for release-related communications; provide regular updates on progress, risks, and issues; facilitate release readiness reviews and post-mortems to ensure transparency.
  • •Quality Assurance and Risk Management: Ensure release artifacts meet quality standards; work with QA to validate testing comprehensiveness and defect resolution; monitor release metrics and drive continuous improvement.
  • •Deployment and Release Execution: Oversee deployment processes with minimal disruption; coordinate rollback plans and contingency measures; ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
  • •Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the release process and propose improvements; implement best practices for release management, including automation, CI/CD, and version control; document release processes for future reference.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of proven release management, software development, or DevOps experience
  • •Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/DevOps methodologies
  • •Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) and release automation tools
  • •Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and release automation
  • •Knowledge of scripting and basic programming (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus
