Key Responsibilities

  • •Define AMD’s architectural vision and long-term technical strategy for agentic AI and deliver it via use cases, reference implementations, and early customer PoCs.
  • •Architect end-to-end reference architectures optimizing heterogeneous execution across AMD CPUs, GPUs, DPUs, networking, memory, and storage, including CPU-centric and GPU-based approaches for A+A and A+N.
  • •Use agentic AI benchmarks and demonstrate agent orchestration, planning, routing, and verification.
  • •Lead data optimization and integration of frontier foundation models with retrieval systems and enterprise/edge/sovereign AI deployments.
  • •Influence AMD’s silicon and software roadmaps through collaboration with engineering and partners, and represent AMD technically in customer engagements and publications.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 204,400 - 350,400 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Deep expertise in agentic AI systems architecture, heterogeneous AI infrastructure, and AI performance engineering.
  • •Experience architecting large-scale distributed/enterprise AI systems across heterogeneous compute platforms (CPUs, GPUs, DPUs, networking, storage).
  • •Ability to design agentic AI systems including multi-agent collaboration, orchestration frameworks, autonomous reasoning, and workflow optimization.
  • •Experience with AI performance engineering (latency, throughput, token efficiency, and heterogeneous resource utilization).
  • •Familiarity with trusted/secure AI practices such as confidential computing, data provenance, and governance (preferred).
