Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare, organize, and manage settlement-related documents and internal case management and document review databases, tracking stages of mass tort claims administration.
  • •Intake, review, evaluate, manage, and organize claims information using firm-approved technologies and matter management systems.
  • •Collaborate with attorneys to ensure timely progress of settlement workflows and completion of documentation; provide regular updates on case statistics and settlement/payment status.
  • •Conduct settlement-related legal research; draft correspondence or reports; review settlement agreements and supporting documentation for compliance and accuracy.
  • •Coordinate payment requests and assist with settlement disbursement procedures, including drafting and reviewing necessary court documents for filing in various jurisdictions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 125,000 - 165,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and/or a Paralegal Certificate is required.
  • •3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal with settlement or claims administration experience, preferably in products liability and/or drug, device and consumer products.
  • •Experience with mass tort or multidistrict litigation (MDL), complex litigation, or high-volume settlement administration.
  • •Familiarity with medical records, lien resolution, and Medicare reporting requirements.
  • •Proficiency with matter management systems and Microsoft Excel and Word, with ability to adapt to new technology and AI-assisted platforms (AI tools such as Harvey; Pattern and/or Case Manager Pro experience a plus).
