Key Responsibilities

  • •Undertake NEC Supervisor services as defined in the NEC3 ECC, reporting into Project Leads for each element of the Recap Programme.
  • •Provide independent on-site scrutiny to ensure correct materials are used and to required standards.
  • •Use foresight to identify and prevent issues or potential issues from arising.
  • •Manage defects that arise and witness any testing.
  • •Attend progress meetings, issue contract-required communications, coordinate with the Project Manager, and maintain contemporary records of observations.

Key Requirements

  • •Relevant construction degree or equivalent qualification.
  • •Relevant construction experience with a good understanding of construction methods.
  • •Demonstrate commitment to service excellence and delivering to agreed quality standards.
  • •Work collaboratively within a large project team and be confident using digital systems to access project information and record defects.
  • •Good working knowledge of the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) is beneficial (but not essential).
