Job Summary

Partner with engineering, product, and other technical teams to translate business priorities into practical people plans. Advise leaders on organization design, workforce planning, spans and layers, and talent priorities, while coaching managers through performance, feedback, conflict, attendance, and employee relations. Own key people cycles including performance reviews, compensation planning, talent/succession reviews, and organizational change, using workforce insights to surface risk and drive consistent programs to completion.

Key Responsibilities

•Build deep understanding of assigned teams to advise leaders on organization design, role clarity, team effectiveness, workforce planning, spans and layers, and talent priorities.
•Serve as first point of contact for managers and employees; coach leaders on performance, feedback, conflict, attendance, accommodations, leaves, conduct, and workplace concerns; support fair investigations with Legal or counsel.
•Lead business-facing work for performance reviews, goal setting, talent reviews, succession planning, development planning, promotions, and corrective action.
•Partner with People leadership and Finance on compensation planning, job leveling, pay decisions, promotions, and retention actions using established frameworks.
•Plan and execute reorganizations and leadership transitions; maintain listening cadence and use workforce data to identify attrition, engagement, performance, manager effectiveness, and organizational health risks.

Salary: USD 120,000 - 155,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of progressive HR experience, including substantial experience as an HRBP/People Partner or broad HR generalist supporting leaders and employees.
•Demonstrated success advising senior leaders and coaching managers through complex employee relations, performance, organizational, and talent decisions.
•Working knowledge of California and multi-state U.S. employment practices, with judgment to know when specialized legal guidance is needed.
•Experience owning or materially contributing to core people cycles (performance reviews, compensation planning, promotions, talent reviews, engagement, and workforce planning).
•Strong business acumen and analytical skills to connect people data and employee feedback to operating priorities and recommendations.
