Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform connector terminations for shielded wires, coaxial cables, and fiber optic wiring.
  • •Seal, wrap, bond, tie, and close wire harnesses and cables in accordance with standard processes.
  • •Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to execute electrical repairs and modifications.
  • •Use tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot-level modification and repair of electrical wiring; perform assembly, installation, and visual inspections.
  • •Troubleshoot organizational and depot-level malfunctions in aircraft electrical and comms/nav-systems, following safety and operating procedures.

  • •10+ years of experience with electrical/electronic theories and avionics systems, including shop mathematics and practices.
