Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and manage contract execution for supplier sites under your responsibility, including corrective actions for non-compliant performance.
  • •Develop strong partnerships with assigned suppliers and take proactive measures, in collaboration with P&WC teams (e.g., Quality, Engineering), to manage and reduce the cost of purchased materials.
  • •Execute the supplier relationship management strategy for your assigned supplier portfolio and oversee supplier relationship management activities.
  • •Manage supplier capacity to meet delivery requirements, including executing corrective actions and following up directly with suppliers to close performance gaps.
  • •Lead a team of Account Specialists and Account Managers to ensure supplier commitment dates (“promise dates”) are met, and take appropriate action when suppliers fail to deliver on commitments; analyze value-stream spending to identify margin expansion, cost reduction, and continuous improvement opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •University degree in supply chain, business administration, purchasing, business/commercial administration, or mechanical engineering (or a related field).
  • •More than 10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • •Experience managing direct and indirect resources to achieve operational objectives.
  • •Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • •MBA is an asset.
