Versatile Mechanical Engineer supporting the Systems & Automation group in a high-tech manufacturing environment. You will help design, integrate, and deploy advanced automated equipment, troubleshoot production line issues, and update layouts and schematics using CAD tools, collaborating across maintenance, automation, and vendors to improve uptime and reliability.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Systems Engineering Support: Assist the Systems & Automation team in the design, integration, and deployment of advanced manufacturing equipment, factory automation systems, and electro-mechanical hardware.
•Equipment Optimization & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical glitches or bottlenecks on active production lines to improve uptime and efficiency.
•Project Execution & Layout Design: Plan and execute equipment upgrade projects and update factory layouts and schematics using CAD tools.
•Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a technical liaison between automation, maintenance, and external vendors to align installations with safety and operational needs.
•Documentation & Preventive Maintenance: Create and update SOPs, maintenance plans, and technical documentation for long-term reliability.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical discipline.
•3 to 5 years of versatile engineering experience in high-tech manufacturing, automated assembly lines, or advanced industrial environments.
•Familiarity with industrial automation components, low-voltage electrical installations, control systems, or pneumatic equipment.
•Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD or SolidWorks) for modifying layouts and mechanical/electrical schematics, with strong problem-solving skills.
•Fluent in English and Spanish, with strong communication to work in an international engineering team.
